Purposefully Commissioned: Babel: Division or Multiplication? (Rev. Dr. Danny Foster)
Jesus Christ lived His life—through His ministry, death, and resurrection—with a clear purpose: to save humanity from the penalty of sin and reconcile us to the Father, offering eternal life through faith in Him (Romans 6:23). The work on the cross is finished (John 19:30). And yet, after His resurrection, Jesus sent and purposefully commissioned His disciples (John 20:21). In the same way, we are called to make disciples of all nations, to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and to teach others to obey all that Jesus has commanded (Matthew 28:16–20).
Join us this month as we explore what it means to be Purposefully Commissioned—learning why and how we are called to carry out the Great Commission on campus and in our world.
"The Table" Training Session
“The Table” is an outreach ministry in UCM, where we set up a table on campus, give out snacks and hot chocolate while facilitating conversations on reflective questions.
On Wednesday 28th 11am-12pm “The Table” is having a training session for anyone that are interested in volunteering. Join us in COM309 for discussion and hands-on practice on how to foster faith conversations on our campus.

Camp Retreat
Join us on this retreat to connect with God, make meaningful new friendships, and be equipped to live a Jesus-shaped life back on campus.
Our Camp Retreat is designed for new students to plug into UCM quickly and make a load of new friends. Our goal is that you’ll leave this retreat inspired to be a disciple of Jesus and live on mission while at UBCO this year.
You will experience epic icebreaker games, small group connections, worship by the campfire, morning times for solitude and prayer, eating s'mores and other delicious camp food, time to chill on the water or go for a hike, and most importantly, gain a greater understanding of the life Jesus is calling us to live in our context.
