MyVision.org

Researchers have found close links between eye health and mental health. People with vision impairments often develop mental health problems like anxiety and depression because of the stress of living with their condition. People with mental health problems are also more likely to develop vision issues later in life.

To educate the public on this, we recently published a guide highlighting the link between mental health and vision health where we cover the following topics:

- How Vision Issues Affect Mental Health
- Which Vision Issues Have the Greatest Impact?
- Mental Health Disorders and Their Impact on Eye Health
- Kids' Vision and Mental Health
- Coping with Vision Problems, and more

Renew Bariatrics

Weight bias or stigma refers to the discriminatory acts and ideologies targeted towards individuals because of their weight and size. This bias can lead to discriminatory behavior that affects a person's self-esteem/mental health, employment opportunities, and even the quality of healthcare they receive. We've created a guide to educate communities on the mental health effects of weight stigma, and how to take control of both your physical and mental health to be able to live your best life.
