This week we host Dr. Iain Provan, Professor of Old Testament Biblical Studies from Regent College, as he speaks on “The Moral Maze: A Christian Guide for the Perplexed.” 

We live in an increasingly complicated world.  As Christians, how are we to navigate our way through it in a right and proper way?  This first talk is designed to re-establish a truth that was obvious to many of our ancestors in the faith, but is now increasingly disputed: that our “map” for the journey is nothing other than Holy Scripture – the Old and New Testaments together.  It is the entire Bible that represents our “canon” for life and faith, over against other possibilities – our measuring stick for right belief and action.
