UCM at UBCO has sent 5 students to Mae Sot to follow God's call to missions. The organization it is organized through is Imagine Thailand which offers young adults opportunities to support and contribute to communities in SE Asia.

Hey guys! We at UBCO have joined up with SFU to create a service team to serve in Mae Sot, Thailand or Myanmar this Spring. Imagine Thailand is a Bangkok-based Christian social action organization specializing in linking the university and marketplace to marginalized communities. They do this by leveraging the capacity of students like you to bring real benefit and change to children at risk and communities impacted by political or environmental dislocation. We will be doing things like teaching English as a Second Language, installing water filtration systems, participating in student camps, building basic structures, and more. We thank you for your support and prayers as a team!
