Our Vision Night is about seeing where God is directing the ministry of UCM to go next. Annually we gather together to ask the tough questions, discuss, pray, and discern the invitations and the challenges Jesus is calling us as a community to live out on this campus this coming year. We invite all those who believe in the mission of UCM and those who would like to know more about being involved.
As a club of the UBCSUO, our Vision Night also acts as our 'Annual General Meeting' where we hold our annual election of executive positions of the club. During the meeting all official members of UCM will be invited to vote with prayer and discernment.
A pizza dinner will be provided.
About the Election:
University Christian Ministries Elections will be conducted according to the UBCSUO Club Policy:
5.5.1
Each Club shall hold an annual election to fill executive positions of that club.
5.5.3
Voting shall be done by secret ballot
5.5.7
Only UBCSUO members who are also members of the Club (University Christian Ministries) are eligible to be candidates for an executive position
5.5.12
Submission of nomination must be given to the CRO of the Club election and include:
a. Nominee’s name
b. Nominee’s student number
c. Position being nominated for
d. The option of submitting a short paragraph to serve as their campaign if there will be no campaign period
5.5.13
Registered members of a Club who are also members of the UBCSUO are entitled to one vote for each executive position in a Club’s election.
