In the early period of the church, thousands of Christians left the comforts of city life and retreated to the desert to journey with Jesus. They sought to commune with Jesus through a life of solitude, simplicity, and spiritual discipline. Being a university student has a lot in common with these early monastics. Departing from home. Not making an income. Long periods of studying in solitude and silence. In this series we’ll look to learn from the stories of historical monastic saints to help you find your desert while at university. 

Thursday Nights is our weekly worship gathering where we engage teachings from the Bible around relevant topics for university students. It's a place where everyone is welcome, seeking to know Jesus is prioritized, and authentic relationships are valued.
